About “A Guiding Bell”
Hello Everyone! I am Gavin Bell (he/him), and I’m excited to offer my educational services to you via “A Guiding Bell” Education Consulting. Much of my workshopping and focus on student success & well-being emerged during the 2020 pandemic as I began my work as a student affairs practitioner. In response to navigating heightened reports of anxiety, isolation, and lack of belonging across college campuses, my goal was to create visuals and frameworks around well-being and empowerment that ultimately accomplished three primary objectives:
Often when we as practitioners facilitate training centered around professional success and self care, much of our delivery can become repetitive. My work and approach is different. It is memorable, effective, and centers narrative as a way to move application and framing forward. I would love the opportunity to work with your students and professional staffs in order to provide them with a long lasting experience that affirms their growth and empowerment. Much love!

Organization Testimonials
“We really appreciated having Gavin come talk to our students before finals season. A well-balanced mix of indigenous ways of thinking and genuine conversation, Gavin’s presentation was definitely a great way to reframe our understanding of taking care of one’s self. While it can be difficult to reframe to an indigenous mindset, he provided a lot of everyday examples to relate to the 4 sectors of the medicine wheel making it much easier for students to understand. Definitely a well thought out and provocative topic!”
